1. Term of Agreement. This Agreement is effective on the Crossing Date, and shall remain in effect throughout the first 2 years of your membership with the Delta Psi Rho Sorority Inc.2. Limitations of this Agreement. This Agreement is not a contract or offer of membership. Neither You nor the Delta Psi Rho are obligated to any specific term of membership. This Agreement is limited to the subject matter of covenants not to compete or solicit as described in this Agreement.3. Covenant Not to Compete. You agree that at no time during the first two years of membership Delta Psi Rho will you engage in any activity which is competitive with the Delta Psi Rho nor begin an organization similar to or in competition with Delta Psi Rho.For a period of one (2) year immediately following the resignation or termination of your membership, You will not, for yourself or on behalf of any other person or organization, engage ian any activity which competes with the Delta Psi Rho within 50 miles of any active chapter.Non-solicitation. During your membership, and for a period of two (2) years immediately thereafter, You agree not to solicit any member or recruit of Delta Psi Rho on behalf of any other organization.

Financial Obligation AgreementI hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions regarding financial obligations upon pledging with Delta Psi Rho Sorority Inc.:1. Non-Refundable Joining FeesI understand and accept that all fees paid upon initiation of the pledging process are non-refundable. Regardless of circumstances, including voluntary withdrawal or involuntary removal from the pledging process, the joining fees are non-refundable. This includes situations where a change of mind or commitment levels, failure to meet the desired pledging tasks, insubordination, or behavioral issues lead to my removal from the pledging process. In such cases, no refunds will be granted.2. National and Chapter DuesI acknowledge that in addition to national fees, chapter dues may be assessed to contribute to the local chapter budget. These chapter dues are determined based on the chapter's specific needs. Additionally, other charges might apply for community service activities, bonding events, apparel, or other chapter-related expenses.3. Annual DuesI understand that annual dues to the Nationals will be due on April 1st of each year.4. Compliance and ConsequencesIn failing to adhere to the terms of this Agreement, I recognize that disciplinary action may be taken by the Chapter. Such actions may include but are not limited to loss of chapter privileges, suspension of membership, or expulsion from Delta Psi Rho. In such circumstances, there will be no refund of any prior dues paid.5. AcknowledgmentBy signing this agreement, I affirm that I have read and understand the financial responsibilities associated with membership in Delta Psi Rho Sorority Inc. I agree to comply with these obligations and understand the consequences for non-compliance.This updated agreement explicitly highlights the non-refundable nature of joining fees and the consequences for failing to meet the terms outlined in the agreement. Background Check Information: The background check may include, but is not limited to, the following:

1. Criminal History: A review of your criminal record, if any.

2. Employment History: Verification of your previous employment, including positions held and dates of employment.

3. Confidentiality: All information obtained during the background check process will be kept confidential and will only be shared with individuals involved in the membership decision. Your privacy is important to us, and the information will not be disclosed to unauthorized persons.

Authorization: By signing below, you authorize Delta Psi Rho Sorority to obtain information about you from the background check agency. You also release all persons, schools, employers, and organizations from any liability resulting from providing information in connection with your background check.
