OIS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME 2024-25

Dear candidate,

On behalf of everyone at OIS I am delighted that you are applying to join our school community.

You will need to upload a series of documents so that the OIS Scholarship Team can review them. Your application is not complete until all the documentation has been submitted. The deadline for submission is 1pm on February 29th 2024.

We will contact candidates who will be invited to an interview by the 15th March, and final offers will be made by May 2024.

Please be aware that applications are accepted from candidates who either live or study in the municipality of Oeiras, and the needs-based scholarships cover up to all yearly school registration, fees and required educational activities.

Please have all of the documents (as outlined below) and the video ready before starting the online submission.

Please upload a letter of application written by the applicant's parent/s outlining why the application is being made, why they think that an OIS education would benefit their child, and how OIS would benefit from having them join our community. This can be written in either English or Portuguese. *

Please share the link to a video (made by the applicant) outlining why they would like to join OIS, how OIS would benefit from them joining our community, how they think an IB education is different from their current curricu-lum, an outline of the applicant's strengths and areas for development, and what they hope to achieve in the fu-ture when they graduate from school. This must be done in English. Please upload the video to YouTube, and share the link in the OIS application form. If a password is used, ensure it is shared within the application letter.
